Again?
We learnt a huge amount with our first convention, with train cancellations and roadworks right outside the venue entrance it certainly seemed like fate was against us, but the day went fantasticlly well and all the feedback was wonderful. Yes, we had issues with the lights for the stage show but we could say it added atmosphere. Our lecturers were all superb and shared some awesome effects including a brand new release from Chris.
Based on the issue with parking and lighting we will be trying a new venue next year, Wivelsfield Village Hall. There's ample parking and I have already tested the lights and purcahsed my own spares, just in case.
The limited edition IPA sold out very quickly, so will certainly re-order some of those for next year.
All our stage performers were true professionals even facing the lighting issues we had, many thanks to them all.
