Sussex Magic Convention

With train cancellations and roadworks right outside the venue entrance it certainly seemed like fate was against us, but the day went fantasticlly well and all the feedback was wonderful. Yes, we had issues with the lights for the stage show but we could say it added atmosphere. Our lecturers were all superb and shared some awesome effects including a brand new release from Chris.

The limited edition IPA sold out very quickly, I have a couple of the Pilsner left, so will reward myself with a quiet drink while thinking about the next convention.

Everyone I spoke to on the day was so nice too, honestly I couldn't have asked for a nicer set of attendees and I insist you all come back again next year.

All our stage performers were true professionals even facing the lighting issues we had, many thanks to them all.

There were a great team of people helping out on the day too, with Kevin, George, Andy and Freddie on stage management, sound (not lights). Sean as the ever helpful bar-keep.
